Warranty Policy

The warranty period for all certified walnut saplings produced by Bandırma Fidan Fide A.Ş. is 5 years from the invoice date.
If you notice a problem at your investment facility, notify us immediately. Invoices and warranty documents without a sales date are invalid. To benefit from the warranty, the warranty document and invoice must be presented.
If you detect any issues in your garden, send photos of the problem to us via email.
Walnut saplings are covered by a 5-year warranty from the invoice date. If more than 50% of the saplings are problematic, the customer has the right to replace all of them twice within 5 years.
If the issue is significant, a company representative will be invited, and an on-site inspection will be conducted. Interventions by unauthorized persons void the warranty.
Bandırma Fidan Fide A.Ş. may request information about the planting date and location from the customer.
In case of dried saplings, a mutual agreement will be made with the customer to determine the quantity and delivery date of the replacement saplings. Documents will be prepared and signed by both parties. The seller will cover the costs, except for shipping or cargo fees, which will be covered by the customer. The customer will receive replacement saplings equivalent to the number of dried saplings, and no monetary compensation will be provided.
The sapling warranty applies to all walnut varieties. The warranty period begins on the date of the invoice and warranty certificate and ends after 5 years. The customer cannot make any financial claims.
Detailed information on transportation, planting, pruning, irrigation, and fertilization is provided to the customer. If it is determined that the specified cultivation conditions were not followed, resulting issues will not be covered by the warranty (e.g., overwatering, excessive fertilization).
Drying caused by adverse weather conditions is covered by the warranty. Natural or geological extraordinary climatic conditions are also covered.
Our walnut sapling varieties include Chandler, Fernor, Howard, Lara, Robert Livermore (red walnut), Buzsaki (red walnut), Fernette, Franguette, Ronde Montignac, Ivarto, and Cisco.
For new garden establishments, 92-94% main varieties and 6-8% pollinator varieties are recommended.
The walnut saplings to be sent will range in size from 50 cm - 100 cm, 100 cm - 150 cm, 150 cm - 200 cm, and 200 cm - 250 cm, based on the customer's request.
The height of the saplings to be delivered will be between ... cm - ... cm.
Before shipment, saplings will be inspected by a certified inspector, and a health certificate will be issued.
Walnut saplings planted in pots or plastic containers are not covered under warranty. Continuous storage in pots or plastic containers may lead to fungal infections.
Fertilization in the planting area should be based on soil analysis. Fertilizers applied without soil analysis may damage walnut trees. Do not use or allow fertilizers without a proper soil analysis.
If a verified issue exists in your facility, all saplings will be delivered within one year (next season). Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Bandırma Fidan Fide A.Ş. will visit your facility at least once and at most three times per year to provide free consultancy services regarding irrigation, fertilization, and pruning. Any deficiencies observed will be reported to the customer.
The warranty applies to the quantity specified in the invoice. Investors can request replacement saplings for damaged ones within 5 years, but no financial compensation is provided. The transportation costs for replacement saplings will be borne by the buyer.
Our recommendation is to cut the saplings 20 cm above the graft by the end of March and grow them with a single shoot during the first year. The most important task is to clean the sucker shoots below the graft three times. No chemical or animal manure should be used during planting. Fertilization in the first year should be 30-40 g of drip fertilizer per sapling, or 2 shovels of animal manure applied on top.
The sapling guarantee agreement consists of 23 articles. In case of disputes, BALIKESİR courts are authorized.
Our saplings are delivered from Bandırma. Customers must pay 25% at the time of invoicing and 75% upon delivery.
